How to Make Valentine Strawberry Cookies
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture and beat until well combined.
Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a separate bowl.
Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture gradually and mix until incorporated.
Fold in the strawberry puree gently until evenly distributed.
Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
Flatten each cookie gently and bake in the oven for 10–12 minutes.
Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Decorate cooled cookies with pink or red icing and add sprinkles if desired.
Notes
Ensure butter is at room temperature for a light texture. Avoid overmixing the dough to keep cookies soft and chewy.
