Ingredients

Marinade
  • 4 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha adjust for heat preference
  • 1 teaspoon Honey optional
  • 2 stalks Green onion sliced
Bowl Base
  • 8 ounces Sushi-grade tuna cubed
  • 2 cups Cooked sushi rice or jasmine rice
  • 1 medium Avocado sliced
  • 1 medium Cucumber sliced thinly
  • 1 cup Edamame
Optional Add-Ons
  • 1 cup Seaweed salad for tangy flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Pickled ginger for zesty contrast
  • Additional toppings such as sliced jalapeños, extra green onions, or cilantro

Method

Instructions
  1. Whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, and honey (if using) with the sliced green onion in a medium bowl.
  2. Combine the cubed sushi-grade tuna with the marinade, gently tossing to coat each piece. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare the sushi rice according to the package instructions and let it cool slightly.
  4. Divide the cooked rice into serving bowls.
  5. Top each bowl of rice generously with the marinated tuna.
  6. Arrange slices of avocado, cucumber, edamame, radishes, and other additional toppings around the tuna.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and add seaweed salad and pickled ginger if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
