Method
Directions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cube the pressed tofu into bite-sized pieces.
Toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the tofu cubes to the skillet in a single layer, cooking until golden brown and crispy.
Transfer the crispy tofu to a baking sheet and keep it warm in the oven.
Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a small saucepan.
Simmer the sauce over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes.
Remove the tofu from the oven and drizzle the sweet soy glaze over it.
Layer your serving bowls with the cooked rice or quinoa, then top with the glazed tofu, mixed vegetables, and sliced avocado.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, ensure the tofu is well-pressed before cooking. Adjust vegetable types based on preference.
