Method

How to Make Sticky Apricot Glazed Chicken
  1. Whisk together the marinade in a medium bowl. Combine the apricot jam, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, ground ginger, salt, and pepper until smooth and well blended.
  2. Marinate the chicken by placing the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Prepare for baking by removing the chicken from the marinade and placing it in a baking dish. Reserve the marinade for glazing later.
  5. Bake the chicken for 20-25 minutes, until fully cooked and reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Glaze the chicken in the last 5 minutes of baking by brushing the reserved marinade over the chicken.
  7. Rest the chicken for a few minutes after baking, then garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve warm, accompanied by rice, quinoa, or steamed vegetables.
