How to Make Spinach Ham Breakfast Roll
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
Sauté the chopped spinach in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes until wilted.
Combine the sautéed spinach with diced ham, shredded cheese, beaten eggs, garlic powder (if using), salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a lightly floured surface.
Spread the prepared spinach and ham mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
Roll the dough up tightly and pinch the seams to seal.
Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch pieces and arrange them cut side up on the baking sheet.
Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool for a few minutes before serving; garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For best results, ensure spinach is well-wilted and avoid overfilling the dough. Allow to cool for optimal texture before serving.
