How to Make Skillet Brownie with Homemade Jarred Brownie Mix
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 10-inch cast iron skillet.
Melt the unsalted butter and chopped dark chocolate over low heat. Stir until smooth, then mix in the vanilla extract, milk, and eggs.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, espresso powder, flour, and salt.
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared skillet and smooth the top. Optionally, sprinkle dark chocolate chunks on top.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the edges are set but the center remains soft and gooey.
Cool slightly before slicing and serve warm, optionally with ice cream.
Notes
For the best results, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overmixing for a fudgier texture.
