How to Make Red Velvet Cookies and Cream Brownies
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal later.
Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a medium bowl until well combined.
Mix melted butter and brown sugar in a separate large bowl. Stir until smooth, then add in the eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring gel.
Fold in the dry ingredients gradually, mixing until a smooth batter forms.
Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly across the bottom.
Arrange the Oreo cookies evenly over the surface of the first batter layer.
Pour the remaining brownie batter on top of the Oreos, spreading it gently to cover them completely.
Place the cookies and cream kisses evenly on top of the final batter layer.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Optional: Dust with powdered sugar for an elegant finish. Use room temperature eggs for a smoother batter.
