Method

How to Make Potsticker Soup
  1. In a large pot, bring 6 cups of chicken or vegetable broth to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  2. Stir in 1 tablespoon each of soy sauce and sesame oil, along with 1 teaspoon of minced ginger and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Let it simmer for about 2–3 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  3. Gently add 2 cups of mixed vegetables to the pot and cook for about 5 minutes.
  4. Carefully add the frozen potstickers directly into the simmering broth and cook according to package instructions, typically about 5–7 minutes.
  5. Taste your broth and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  6. Ladle the soup into bowls, garnishing each with sliced green onions and fresh cilantro, if desired.
