Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil Optional, added to thin the chocolate if needed.

  • Sprinkles Optional, for adding a pop of color.
  • Crushed Oreos Optional, for an extra layer of Oreo goodness.

Method

How to Make Oreo Truffles
  1. Crush the cookies using a food processor or by hand in a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Scoop out small portions and roll them into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Chill the baking sheet with truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring between 30-second intervals.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate and let excess drip off before placing back.
  7. Sprinkle crushed Oreos or sprinkles on top while the chocolate is still warm.
  8. Return the truffles to the fridge for an additional 15–20 minutes to set.
  9. Serve the Oreo truffles chilled.
