Baking Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan or a loaf pan.
Cream the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the sour cream, mixing gently.
Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies and optional mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
