Ingredients

For the Truffle Mixture
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips optional
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Coating
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup melted chocolate
For the Toppings
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup colorful sprinkles

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • cookie scoop
  • Parchment paper
  • Refrigerator

Method

Making the Truffles
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the Nutella, crushed graham crackers, powdered sugar, mini chocolate chips (if using), and vanilla extract. Stir until everything is well blended, and a dough-like consistency forms.
  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  3. Once chilled, scoop out the mixture using a small cookie scoop or your hands. Roll it into small balls, roughly 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll the formed truffles in cocoa powder until fully coated, or dip them into melted chocolate.
  5. If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts or colorful sprinkles on top of the melted chocolate before it hardens.
  6. Place the coated truffles back in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set properly.
  7. Enjoy your Nutella truffles chilled or at room temperature.
