Baking Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
Mix the melted butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until smooth and creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, blending well.
Sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, matcha powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
Combine the dry mixture with the wet ingredients gradually, stirring until just combined and fold in chocolate chips if desired.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Optional: Drizzle with melted chocolate for an extra decadent treat.
