How to Make Marry Me Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the chicken breasts in the skillet for about 5–7 minutes on each side.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another minute.
Pour in the heavy cream and add the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir well to combine.
Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning sauce over them. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Stir in the dried basil, adjusting seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Serve the chicken hot, garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For a creamier sauce, allow the heavy cream and Parmesan to bubble together gently rather than boiling vigorously.
