How to Make Maraschino Cherry Chocolate Chip Cookies
Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy—about 2-3 minutes.
Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until fully incorporated.
Whisk the dry ingredients together.
Combine the wet and dry mixtures, mixing just until combined.
Fold in the maraschino cherries and chocolate chips.
Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet.
Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Optional: Drizzle melted chocolate over cooled cookies for added sweetness.
