Ingredients

For the Beef
  • 1 pound Ground beef lean or regular
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder or fresh onions sautéed
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika or sweet paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper for seasoning
For the Bowls
  • 4 cups Lettuce (shredded) or any greens
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes or diced regular tomatoes
  • 1 cup Pickles (sliced) try dill or bread-and-butter
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese cheddar or Monterey Jack
  • 1 medium Red onion (sliced) or green onions
For the Toppings
  • to taste Ketchup or barbecue sauce
  • to taste Mustard yellow or Dijon
  • optional Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • optional Buns whole grain or gluten-free

Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5–7 minutes.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  3. In four serving bowls, layer the shredded lettuce as the base.
  4. Divide the cooked ground beef evenly among the bowls. Top each bowl with cherry tomatoes, pickles, shredded cheese, and sliced red onion.
  5. Drizzle ketchup and mustard over each bowl, and add mayonnaise if desired.
  6. Enjoy the Loaded Burger Bowls immediately, with optional buns on the side.
