Method
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This ensures your fries get crispy and delicious.
Prepare the potatoes by washing and cutting them into thin strips. If you're opting for frozen fries, skip this step.
Toss the potato strips in a large bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Ensure each fry is evenly coated.
Spread the fries evenly on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Combine the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce in a bowl. Stir until every piece of chicken is coated.
Layer the BBQ pulled chicken evenly over the cooked fries once they’re ready.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken. The melting cheese will bring everything together.
Return the loaded fries to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Top with sliced green onions, drizzle of sour cream, and pickled jalapeños if desired.
Serve immediately and enjoy the delightful blend of textures and tastes.
Notes
Add a sprinkle of smoked paprika for an extra layer of flavor!
