Method

How to Make Lemon Chicken Pasta
  1. Begin by boiling water in a large pot. Add the mini farfalle pasta and cook it according to the package instructions until it turns al dente. Drain and set aside, letting the pasta cool slightly.
  2. Take the boneless skinless chicken breasts and season them generously with salt, freshly ground black pepper, lemon zest, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, and onion powder.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts, cooking until they’re golden brown and cooked through—about 5–7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and let rest before slicing into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Toss in the chopped zucchini and yellow squash, sautéing them until they become tender, about 4–5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  6. Lower the heat slightly and stir in the butter and fresh lemon juice. Allow the butter to melt completely.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing everything gently to evenly coat in the lemon butter sauce.
  8. Mix in the freshly grated parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt and blend into the pasta.
