Method
How to Make Korean Ground Beef Bowl
Begin by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking it until itβs beautifully browned, around 5β7 minutes.
If there's excess fat in the skillet, carefully drain it.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
Pour the sauce over the browned beef, stirring to ensure each piece is coated. Let it simmer for about 2β3 minutes.
Divide your cooked rice evenly among serving bowls.
Generously spoon the seasoned ground beef over each bowl of rice.
Arrange the steamed broccoli, shredded carrots, and sliced cucumber on top of the beef.
Finish off by sprinkling with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Pair the bowl with kimchi on the side for an authentic touch.
Notes
For extra flavor, drizzle a little more sesame oil before serving.
