Method

Instructions
  1. Whisk the sauce ingredients by combining honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and if you like, minced ginger in a small bowl. Set it aside to let the flavors meld.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the chicken by adding it to the skillet and sautéing for about 5–7 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked chicken in the skillet and stir well.
  6. Simmer the sauce for about 2–3 minutes to thicken.
  7. Garnish the dish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
  8. Serve hot over fluffy rice or alongside steamed veggies.

Notes
