How to Make Ground Turkey Skillet with Zucchini & Rice
Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the ground turkey to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart until browned.
Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until the onion turns translucent.
Toss the sliced zucchini into the skillet and cook for another 3–4 minutes until slightly softened.
Stir in the rice and pour in the chicken broth. Bring to a gentle boil.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and simmer for about 15 minutes until the rice is tender.
Fluff the rice with a fork and adjust the seasoning as needed.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For extra creaminess, sprinkle some grated Parmesan on top before serving.
