Cooking Steps
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the hoagie rolls in half and place them on a baking sheet.
Spoon the ground beef and vegetable mixture evenly into each hoagie roll.
Top each filled roll with 2 slices of provolone cheese or a generous amount of Cheez Whiz.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve hot.
Notes
Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley for color and flavor.
