Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the soba noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-6 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.

  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey (or maple syrup), and optional chili paste. Simmer for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Toss the cooked soba noodles into the skillet with the garlic sesame sauce.
  7. If using fresh vegetables, add them now and toss for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
