How to Make Garlic Butter Steak Pasta
Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a roaring boil.
Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until it's al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
Season the steak pieces generously with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Sear for about 3–4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak and let it rest.
Lower the heat to medium, and add the unsalted butter in the same skillet until melted.
Toss in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1–2 minutes until aromatic.
Bring back the drained pasta and cooked steak into the skillet. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water to reach your desired creaminess.
Taste the pasta and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if necessary.
Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
