  • 1 head Romaine lettuce chopped

  • 5 medium Radishes sliced
  • 1 can Garbanzo beans drained and rinsed
  • 4 oz Salami diced
  • 4 oz Provolone cheese diced
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley chopped
For the Dressing
  • 1 tbsp Red wine vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Honey optional
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method

How to Make Famous La Scala Chopped Salad
  1. In a large bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, finely chopped red onion, sliced radishes, garbanzo beans, diced salami, diced provolone cheese, halved Kalamata olives, and chopped parsley. Mix well.
  2. In a small bowl or jar, whisk together red wine vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, honey (if using), salt, and pepper until well-blended.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently to combine.
