How to Make Creamy High Protein Beef Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil.
Add 8 oz of your favorite pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, warm 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
Add 1 small chopped onion, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add 1 lb of ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Pour in 1/2 cup beef broth and 1 cup heavy cream. Stir together.
Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, along with salt and pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
Gently fold the cooked pasta into the cheese sauce until well-coated.
Ladle into bowls, garnishing with chopped fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.
Serve your creamy beef pasta warm.
Notes
Remember to salt your pasta water generously. Do not overcook the ground beef. For a creamier sauce, warm your heavy cream gently before adding it to the skillet.
