Method

How to Make Creamy High Protein Beef Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil.
  2. Add 8 oz of your favorite pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, warm 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add 1 small chopped onion, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  5. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Add 1 lb of ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Pour in 1/2 cup beef broth and 1 cup heavy cream. Stir together.
  8. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, along with salt and pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  9. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  10. Gently fold the cooked pasta into the cheese sauce until well-coated.
  11. Ladle into bowls, garnishing with chopped fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.
  12. Serve your creamy beef pasta warm.
