How to Make Creamy Garlic Shrimp Skillet
In a large skillet, warm up the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the shrimp in a single layer to the skillet. Season them with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2–3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque, then remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, introduce the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if you're using them). Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for about 2 minutes.
Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook for another 2–3 minutes.
Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet, stirring gently to coat them in the creamy sauce. Heat everything through for an additional 1–2 minutes.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve immediately over your choice of pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
