How to Make Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Gently wash the strawberries under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Ensure they’re completely dry.
Place the semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
Place the dipped strawberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
If using white chocolate, melt it the same way as the semi-sweet chocolate.
Using a fork or piping bag, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the chocolate-covered strawberries.
Refrigerate the strawberries for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firmly set.
Remove from the refrigerator and serve immediately.
Notes
Select fresh, ripe strawberries for best flavor and texture. Make sure they are completely dry before dipping.
