Ingredients

For the Tacos
  • 12 pieces taco shells sturdy shells that hold all that irresistible filling
  • 1 lb ground beef lean beef provides a flavorful base
  • 1 packet taco seasoning brings authentic Mexican flavor
  • 1 cup water helps the seasoning blend beautifully
For the Toppings
  • 2 cups shredded cheese the gooier, the better!
  • 1 cup lettuce adds a fresh crunch
  • 1 cup tomatoes diced for a juicy pop
  • 1/2 cup sour cream balances the spices
  • 1/4 cup sliced olives optional, for briny taste
  • 1/4 cup jalapeños sliced, optional for spice

Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Add the taco seasoning and water, stirring well. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Arrange the taco shells in a baking dish and fill them with the beef mixture.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the filled taco shells.
  6. Bake for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Cool slightly, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, olives, jalapeños, sour cream, and cilantro.
  8. Serve immediately while warm.
