Baking Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream together the softened unsalted butter and 1/2 cup of powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the all-purpose flour, chopped pecans, and salt, mixing until combined.
Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the bottoms are lightly golden.
Cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes.
Roll the cookies in powdered sugar while still warm.
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an extra festive touch, dust with extra powdered sugar before serving. Ensure your butter is at room temperature for easy creaming.
