Method

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, and gently stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  5. Unroll the crescent roll dough carefully.
  6. Separate the dough into triangles along the perforated lines.
  7. Spoon a tablespoon of brownie batter onto the wide end of each triangle.
  8. Roll the dough from the wide end towards the pointed end and pinch edges to seal.
  9. Arrange the croissants on the baking sheet with the pointed end facing down.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
