How to Make Brown Sugar Peach Cake
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
Gently fold in the sliced peaches into the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top.
Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Slice and enjoy your Brown Sugar Peach Cake.
Notes
For the best results, ensure your butter is at room temperature before creaming, and avoid overmixing once you add the dry ingredients.
