Ingredients

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces Chicken breast skin removed and cut for a tender and juicy texture
For the Vegetables
  • 1 large Onion finely sliced
  • 3 cloves Minced garlic enhances flavor
  • 1 cup Roasted peppers adds sweetness; jarred varieties work too
For the Potatoes
  • 4 medium Red potatoes sliced with skins on
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup Favorite pasta sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 1/2 cup Water to thin out the sauce
  • 8 ounces Creamed cheese for a rich texture
For Cooking
  • 1 spray Oil spray to prevent sticking

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together your favorite pasta sauce and water, then stir in the creamed cheese until smooth.
  3. In a lightly greased baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes, onions, minced garlic, and roasted peppers.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken pieces over the layered vegetables and pour the creamy sauce mixture evenly over everything.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 35–40 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes.
  6. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
