Method
Directions
In a bowl, combine the sliced beef sirloin with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let the mixture marinate for about 10 minutes.
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer. Allow it to cook for about 2-3 minutes until it's browned and cooked through.
In the same skillet, pour in the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, ensuring an even coat for the next ingredients.
Introduce the minced garlic and ginger to the hot skillet. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
Add the sliced zucchini and bell pepper, stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes.
Return the cooked beef to the skillet, mixing it with the vibrant vegetables. Stir everything to combine and heat through for another 1-2 minutes.
Taste your stir-fry, adjusting salt and pepper as needed.
Dish out your Beef & Zucchini Stir-Fry onto plates, garnishing with sesame seeds and slices of green onion.
Notes
Always choose a tender cut of beef, such as sirloin, to ensure a juicy and flavorful dish. Make sure your skillet or wok is properly heated before adding the ingredients to achieve a nice sear on the meat and prevent sticking.
