How to Make Beef Stroganoff
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add the sliced beef in a single layer and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2–3 minutes until browned, then remove from the skillet.
In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds, then add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes.
Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for about 5 minutes.
Reduce heat to low, stir in the sour cream until the sauce is creamy, then return the beef to the skillet to heat through.
Cook the egg noodles or rice according to the package instructions.
Plate the Beef Stroganoff over the cooked noodles or rice.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Optional: Garnish with a dollop of sour cream for extra creaminess.
