Method

How to Make Balsamic Mushroom Goat Cheese Pizza
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) if you're using a store-bought crust, or follow the directions on the packaging for homemade pizza.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the sliced mushrooms for about 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally until they're beautifully browned and tender.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Incorporate the fresh spinach into the skillet, cooking until wilted, about 2–3 minutes.
  6. Roll out the pizza crust on a floured surface, if necessary, and transfer it to a baking sheet or hot pizza stone.
  7. Spread the sautéed mushroom and spinach mixture evenly over the pizza crust.
  8. Top generously with crumbled goat cheese and shredded mozzarella.
  9. Bake the pizza for about 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Drizzle balsamic glaze generously over the cooked pizza right after you take it out of the oven.
  11. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
