For Spreading
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard Adds a zesty kick; feel free to substitute with honey mustard for sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter Melt this for brushing to achieve a golden, crispy top.

Method

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice each croissant in half horizontally to create a pocket for filling.
  3. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the inside of each croissant.
  4. Layer a slice of ham and a slice of cheese inside each croissant.
  5. Press gently down to close the croissants.
  6. Brush the tops of the assembled croissants with melted butter.
  7. Bake the croissants in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the croissants before serving.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy.
