How to Make Apple Crumble
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and flour in a large bowl.
Pour the apple mixture into the prepared baking dish evenly.
Mix flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
Add cold butter cubes to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apple filling.
Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the topping is golden and apples are bubbly.
Cool the apple crumble for about 10 minutes before serving.
Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
Use a mix of tart and sweet apples for the best flavor balance. Allow the apple mixture to sit after adding sugar and lemon juice.
