How to Make Apple Cinnamon Cream Cheese Roll Ups
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
Flatten slices of cinnamon swirl bread using a rolling pin.
Mix cream cheese and chopped apple pie filling in a small bowl until well combined.
Spread the cream cheese and apple mixture evenly over each slice of flattened bread.
Roll up each slice tightly and place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl for the topping.
Brush melted butter over each roll up using a pastry brush, then sprinkle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the roll ups are golden brown and slightly crispy to the touch.
Serve warm with a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top, and include the optional cinnamon buttermilk caramel sauce for dipping.
Notes
Roll up tightly and brush melted butter generously for better flavor and texture. Check for doneness after 15 minutes to avoid over-baking.
